Eleanor loves gymnastics and I was honored to see a bit of one her practices.  She laughed when she saw the video and said that was her bad hand cartwheel!  haha, Jessie

Girl Scouts

We have been busy this month with the Girl Scouts.  The cadet plus Eleanor learned how to paint a snowman scene and we also went to a local nursing home and sang, played the piano and Maddie played the clarinet to the tune of jingle bells, what fun! Love, jessie

Holiday Fun Odds and Ends

Here are a few things I had on my camera I thought I would share.  Last night, Sunday we got our first snow of the year and this morning, Monday, we found out there was no school!  Soooo...now you see why Im uploading everything to the blog, haha!  Here is a video clip fron the 3rd grade play of the Honor choir...Maddie is in the sparkling sweater. Thanks, Jessie

Eleanor was awarded character of the month for "CARING."

Breakfast with Santa

This is the 2nd year we have gotten together with our friends the Kirby's for a Breakfast with Santa.  Both of our husbands are gone again and we are thankful to have each other.  The kids eat as many pancakes as they can, get to meet Santa and Mrs Clause, and make ornaments to bring home, so fun! Love, Jessie

Christmas Dance Programs

Both Jack and Eleanor take classes at the Dance Studio and this year for the Christmas program they went to a nursing home and performed.  I wasn't able to video anything it was extremely crowded, but they both did a wonderful job.  Jack is in an all boys hip hop class and for the show they got with the girls hip hop class and performed.  Eleanor takes a tap, jazz and funk class and performed a tap dancing number.  I've included a video clip from one of jack's training days...shows a little bit of what they did! Jack is in the striped shirt! Love, Jessie

Eleanor did a tap dancing number, so proud of her!

Jingle All the Way

Every year the 3rd Grade at Mesa Elementary School puts on a Christmas Play.  This year, much to Eleanor's excitement, she is FINALLY in 3rd grade!  She played Elf #6 and rocked it!  I video taped her line with the volume down (bad Mommy), but if you watch it, you will see her confidence and see how well she did!  Maddie is in the honor choir and they sang at the beginning of the play.  Both girls did wonderful and it was a great night! Love, jessie

Fall Soccer Season

Another soccer season is over!  We had a great time this fall with 6 kids on our team this time.  We play 3 on 3 with no goalies.  I have been Jack's soccer coach since he was 4 and this year we switched leagues and got much more competitive.  We lost one game 4-2 and tied another 5-5 but won the rest and had a blast!  Our team The Hulks wears Green when we are the Home team and Purple when we are the Visitors so of course when they asked us what our team name was going to be Jack yelled out proudly "The Hulks," and it stuck!
