USS Lexington

Jack is new to Cub Scouts this year and loving it. This past weekend we were able to go to the USS Lexington for an overnight with a few Scout troops from around Texas. It was a blast. We had a wonderful tour, enjoyed sleeping on bunk beds and even enjoyed a few ghost stories and fun haunted house on the boat. Love, Jessie

Swim Meet In San Antonio

Swimming the 50 Butterfly
We had a nice weekend in San Antonio cheering on Maddie at her first ever swim meet. She competed in three sessions and six different heats. She placed 1st in all but one of her heats and made her best times in all 6 events! Her favorite was the breaststroke but she also competed in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly. We are so proud of her and love that after a full day and a half of events she smiled and said she had so much fun!  Great Job Maddie! We can't wait til December when you can do it again. Love, Jessie

The Circus

In San Antonio we also went to the circus!  It was a blast...a little dangerous with the lions and jaw dropping with the acrobats, so fun!  It was everyone's first time to the circus for all 5 of us! Love, Jessie
