What an amazing, once in a lifetime summer to spend it together for two months in San Antonio. We took advantage of our location and all the fun was had! We definitely made amazing memories! Love, Jessie

Story Hour Fire Prevention

Once a week there was a library story hour on base and Jack and I enjoyed these very much. We were happily surprised to learn that one week we were going to meet the fire dog and talk to real fireman. Love, Jessie

This summer staying on base was lots of fun. We got pool passes and stayed cool at the super nice pool. When it wasn't open, we improvised with our own little pool! Love, Jessie

The Circus

In San Antonio we also went to the circus! It was a blast...a little dangerous with the lions and jaw dropping with the acrobats, so fun! It was everyone's first time to the circus for all 5 of us! Love, Jessie

Happy 12th Birthday Maddie on July 4th!

Happy Birthday to my sweet, smart and beautiful 12 year old. This year we celebrated a day early with an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery and lots of presents. On the 4th we tubed the Guadalupe River and watched fireworks. Such a fun birthday to have! Love, Jessie

We were so happy we were able to join Bryan's cousin Lori in Texas. She was renting a cabin and we drove up for the afternoon. There was swimming, grilling and just hanging out. So great catching up with her! Love, Jessie

San Antonio Safari

We explored a safari in San Antonio where you get bags of food and drive slowly to feed animals. It was such a neat experience with the animals coming up so close to the car. We had a great time even though an ostrich startled Jack and later a zebra barked at us, who knew zebras could bark? At the end there was a petting zoo too! Love, Jessie
