RESPECT

Friday Eleanor was awarded a certificate of RESPECT for showing respect to her teacher and others in the month of September. They had an assembly and called her name, it was fun! She even got a free slush certificate, yummy! Way to go Eleanor! Love, Jessie

Grandparents Day

Jack had Grandparents Day at his school and it just so happened that Jack had Grandparents in town! Many thanks to Dad and Pat for coming to Clovis a little early to help Jack celebrate Grandparents Day in style. Love, Jessie

Our New Pets

The kids each picked out a fish yesterday! Jack told me this morning that he wanted to be a fish trainer. I asked him what a fish trainer does and he told me,"They teach fish to do cool stuff." "Like What?" I asked. Jack thought and thought and finally said, "to dig in the rocks with their fins and also to walk, you know on their fins!" He even had a bright idea that if his friend Libby got a fish too, he could train her fish just like his!

Girls Day Out

On Wednesdays the Girls have a half day of school and Jack has a regular full day. We decided to make today a GIRL'S DAY OUT! I picked up the girls a little early and we headed to their favorite restaurant RED LOBSTER!!! They dined on mac n cheese and of course cheesy garlic biscuits. They enjoyed super yummy dessert, chocolate chip lava cake.

Next we headed to get nails done. They both went for wild zebra stripes! After nails we hit the mall and got lip glass at Claire's and hand sanitizer at Bath and Body Works! Then it was time to pick up Jack. Eleanor said it was her favorite day of the year and Maddie was all smiles! It is fun to do nothing but girly stuff, we had a blast! Love, Jessie

Apple Orchard

The kids and I went with some friends to an apple orchard. We had a blast picking and eating and eating and eating! The orchard was having an apple butter festival so they had a bouncy house, snow cones and Snow White! Eleanor did not want to leave and couldn't understand why we had to stop picking apples. Before we left I asked Maddie if she had fun and she said "Everything but the apple picking was great!" I'm excited to eat sleep and cook apples for the next few weeks! Much love, Jessie

Jack's Star Wars 5th Birthday Party

Jack had a Star Wars birthday party today! He invited a few little girls and boys to learn how to become Jedi's. Jack had a blast! At the end the kids had to fight Darth Vader(a friends husband), poor Darth Vader to get their party bags! Cant believe Jack will be 5 on Wednesday! Jessie

Jack sat down and drew a few pictures, found the stapler and stapled the right hand side of the paper as you can see in the 1st picture and looked at me and said, "I wrote a book, would you like to hear the words?" After he read me his book I asked if we could share it and he was amazed at the scanning in process but thrilled he could share his words with his daddy!






Once upon a time there was an old man and a big guy and the old man was named Yoga. The big guy was named Anakin and Anakin said "Yoda do you want to go out to the park?" Yoda said "Yes!" They were so tired at home they took a nap. This is Luke and he runs down to the park. Then he was playing at the park but he was getting tired and he went home and rested and then he went back. This time he went a different way to the park and on the way he was walking and being quiet and picking berries and Darth Vader showed up and Luke hit him with his light saber and Darth Vader died. But all the Storm troopers were there fighting in a group but Luke was fighting them all. Some of the storm troopers were still on Darth Vader's ship. Hans Solo and Princess Leia started dropping bombs on the storm troopers and the ship was exploding but a storm trooper made it to a secret ship. Luke showed up and whacked everyone down and won. Hans Solo and Princess Leia came along and asked Luke how he got here and Luke told them all about Darth Vader and they were happy! They all went to the park. THE END
