Summer Fun

Maddie had one month of swimming lessons every morning....here are a few pictures from the times we were there! Prior to lessons Maddie was holding her nose to go under, now she is using strokes and breathing out on the side, how wonderful! Atakule Tower

We went to the tower...it reminded me of the sears tower. You take an elevator all the way up and you see Ankara and miles including the presidential palace and even the mall, hehe! We had fun!

A blast from the past

I was having one of those days when it hit me....the kids are getting so big! This spring and summer they will now be 4, 7 and 2! Here are a few pictures from the past of my sweet little angels! Happy Independence Day

We got to enjoy the pool on the 4th, so nice!

Maddie got her very first American Girl doll, Felicity! Jack was VERY excited to get a present too!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

We had a fun-filled day packed with Maddie's 7th birthday, opening presents, eating cake and fireworks! As you can see Ella's picture, they had a face painting booth and all the free tatoos you could ever want, by the end of the night Ella had 7!!! We missed you all and appreciate the warm cards and packages of so many presents for Maddie...she couldnt believe how many people had thought of her on her special day! She was very cute about opening each card and reading every word and then tearing into her gifts! We are blessed with a super wonderful 7 year old and can't believe she is so BIG! The fireworks went well...after a few Jack was clinging to Mommy but would take peeks every now and then! The summer is still going very well...we started swimming lessons and it is going great! Science Museum

We had fun at the science Museum today with some friends!

We took in an electricity show and the kids got to try out the static ball.

The museum was all hands on experiments so the kids could see and learn about Energy, Plasma and gases and try out many things such as flexibility and balance.

We have officially started homeschooling and had our first field trip today to the science museum. We lucked out being the only people there and have many helpers showing us around. They also put on a show for the kids and everyone got to get up and try the electricity ball! We look forward to these Thursdays and enjoy getting together with a few other families. I didn't get a picture of everyone, but there were 9 kids and 4 adults, a nice group! Jessie

Aegean Sea

We spent half the day enjoying the pools at the hotel and the waters of the Aegean Sea. The sands were soft and full of golden glitter and the water was warm and so enjoyable! Here is a rare picture of Bryan and I...Maddie is our budding photographer...we were commenting on the fact that this Sept we will have been married 10 years and we couldnt be happier! Jessie
