Girl Scout Christmas Lights Parade

Clovis has a Christmas Lights Parade every year and our Girl Scout Troop was able to make a float and freeze, laugh and smile all the way through the town. It was in the 30's so the girls were troopers. Maddie even coordinated the girls saying "Merry Christmas" every time she counted to 3, so fun! Love, Jessie

Santa, Santa, Santa

We enjoyed Breakfast with Santa this morning! There were wonderful crafts and we met our friends there and had a blast!

These pictures are from the base Kids Christmas Party. It was cold so no one wanted to take their coats off but I must say, Jack was happily surprised to see the "Same" Santa at the breakfast with Santa the next morning(above pictures). He even came over to me and said, "wow, I even got to meet Mrs. Claus!" Merry Christmas! Jessie

Maddie's Play

Maddie has been part of a play company and has been practicing a play since September. Nov 29th was her big night! Maddie's character was Annie and she did a wonderful job! She knew her lines and you could tell she was having fun! Great job Maddie, Love, Jessie

LEAVES

When we returned from Chicago, the weather was beautiful and our yard was covered in leaves! Jack and I enjoyed raking them and playing in them. Love, Jessie

Turkey Trot

I had the pleasure of running in a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day in Batavia, Illinois. The race was on the Fox River, hence the Fox! I placed 530th overall and 27th in my age group running 4 miles at 34.32 minutes. Not my best time, but I loved it and hope to do more races! Jessie

Trip to Illinois Part 2

We had a blast seeing family over Thanksgiving. My sister Sarah and her boyfriend Andy graciously let us stay in their home for the entire week! My brother Mike and his fiance as well as my sister Beth and her husband and son came out for the weekend. I was even thrilled to see my Mom's sisters, my Aunt Cathy and Aunt Carmi. As always, we couldnt see everyone and always wish we had more time. As we were driving down Sarah's street heading home Jack said, "when can we see everyone again?" I feel the same way! Happy Thanksgiving. Love, Jessie
