Rainforest Cafe

We drove to Dallas to get our car from Turkey and enjoyed swimming at the hotel pool and the Rainforest Cafe. It was the first time for all 5 of us and it was really fun! We were seated by a gorilla that continued to make wild noises and as always Jack was concerned but only to know that the gorilla wasnt about to start walking around! Love, Jessie

The girls 1st day of school in Clovis!

Happy New Year everyone. We are in our new home in Clovis, NM and the girls have started school and things are rolling. I have been a little behind posting so this includes our last activities in Ankara, Turkey. Maddie had a wonderful Brownie troop and Ella enjoyed her kindergarten with only 9 children in her class.

We have met many new families and I have included some pictures from this weekend including the back of our home. The park is right behind our house, so nice! The classes are a bit larger than Turkey, but I am VERY happy with both the K and 3rd grade, yeah!

I also included some fun shots from Christmas. The family received a nerf gun set and I cannot enter a room without being hit with at least 10 darts! Ella received a Hannah Montana dress-up set and she enjoys singing for us all!

Happy 2010 to you all. May this year bring joy and laughter and many fond memories to cherish! Jessie and family

Santa

Happy Santa Day!
It is so nice they are all big enough to not cry or be scared of Santa! We were in and out, nice and easy! Jack even looked right at Santa and said "I would like a Lightening McQueen please."
Bryan gets to the States on Tuesday and we are off to the next adventure. Have a wonderful December, Jessie and family

Happy "Early" Halloween!

Here in Ankara we had our Halloween Haunt Trick or Treating last night, yes on a Tuesday, but no one seemed to mind! The kids were happily defending the world and were able to round up a few of the other super hero's to help us "SAVE THE DAY" as Jack yells before running off in every direction. We enjoyed getting treats from the Embassy offices and enjoying mac and cheese and chili while the kids ran all around and played. It was a nice last event before we fly out this weekend. Good-bye Turkey

We have had a nice time living in Ankara, Turkey for the past two years and we are heading out at the end of this month. We have made some pretty wonderful friends and seen some amazing sights. We are ready to start again heading back to the states to New Mexico. Jessie
