Vacation Bible School

Here are some pictures from our week at VBS! This year I was the director and am proud to say we had over 120 kids, the most we have had there in Ankara. We had fun at the Crocodile Dock and just to let ya know, Jack and Daddy spent the week together doing so many guy things, playing baseball, moving furniture and bonding! Jessie

We loved our Pharaoh and learning about the plagues and our set was so much fun, swampy!!!

Izmir Carnival Fun

In May we headed to Izmir and one day came upon this carnival, what luck! The kids had a blast...after one of the rides, Bryan saw a worker pick up an extra screw that was laying around...but all seemed okay as far as carnivals go!

Happy 8th Birthday Maddie

Maddie had a wonderful 8th birthday...Bryan and I still can't believe she is 8...she had an American Girl Sleepover and everyone had to bring their dolls. They had pizza, watched an AG video and headed upstairs to sleep in a tent outside. We had a blast and are so blessed at the wonderful friends Maddie has here in Turkey. Happy Birthday Madeline Paige!

Summer Fun

We have been having a nice summer with swimming lessons, get togethers and Maddie's 4th of July birthday! Miss you all, Jessie

Vacation to Patara Beach

We had a some time off so we headed south to the ocean and went to Patara Beach and enjoyed the sunshine and soft sand. We had some adventures, a little food poisoning and a flat tire, but always came up on top. Right now we are back and enjoying summer in Ankara. Jack has started potty training and it amazing how Maddie, Ella, Bryan and I are ALL so excited every time he goes on the potty. Today, I glanced over and Maddie and Ella were smiling SO BIG and so was Jack as he was peeing! Even though we are so sad to be away from all of our family...this assigment has made us a very strong, united family unit, we are so blessed! Your in our thoughts, Jessie

Happy 5th Birthday Eleanor Ann

Eleanor had a Wizard of Oz party complete with a Rainbow cake (it was so easy).

She really has some nice friends and it was such a nice day, high 70's! Here is our Emerald City Table!

Bryan and I can't believe Eleanor is 5! Time flies...I asked her what is felt like to turn 5 and she thought and thought and looked at me and said..."it feels like I am 6!" We miss you all and love you! Jessie
