Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Over the long weekend, we headed to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. We walked into more than 100 known caves over the Chihuahuan Desert.

We went down about 800 feet and enjoyed all the amazing formations and mineral deposits. We also had an opportunity to experience the Mexican Free tailed Bats take flight on Sunday night. We sat quietly and around 815 they came spiralling out of the cave into the night to eat. It was a fun weekend of hiking and exploring. We were also happy our hotel had a nice water slide and pool for the kids to enjoy in the later afternoons. Love, Jessie

School Days

School Days in May...we had a wonderful Renaissance Fair where Maddie was a banner carrier. Maddie was Character for the month, yeah Maddie! The girls also had a spirit week and one day they dressed as fashion emergencies and Maddie and her friends are wearing LOTS and LOTS of pink one day! Lastly, a few pictures of Eleanor with her amazing kindergarten teachers and her "twin" friend Greenlee who is sadly moving to North Carolina this week. The girls had such a wonderful school year at Mesa. Love, Jessie

Eleanor is 6

Eleanor had two cakes! One Friday night on her real birthday and one Sunday at her party! She had an African Safari Party so of course she had to wear a giraffe print dress. Happy Birthday Eleanor! On Friday morning she came down the stairs and said "well, I am 6...I was looking at myself in the mirror and really don't look any different!" Love, Jessie

Eleanor Tball

Eleanor is wonderful at Tball. Her team is the White Sox, how fun to remind us of home! The games were perfect, they played 2 innings and every child was able to bat and run all the bases whether they got out or not. She has a few more games but we are all having a nice time!

Daddy's New Plane

We had an open house and were able to go inside Bryan's new plane the M28. It was a very cold April day but we had a blast at the open house. Yes, the kids are even eating snow cones!! The C130 guys even put a large vest on Jack, he loved it! Maddie wanted a picture with the emergency medical team suit! Love ya, Jessie
